Job Description: The City Spaces team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join its team working to deliver high quality programs for young people and the wider community within the City of Sydney. You will actively provide and facilitate a range of recreational, social activities and support services for the local City of Sydney youth and community. In particular you will facilitate community development projects which respond to priority needs of young people and their families in the City of Sydney and which achieve outcomes set out in the City’s Social Sustainability Plan. Qualification & Experience: You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Youth Work / Social Welfare or other relevant discipline and/or demonstrated high level youth experience. You will have experience delivering community programs and have an understanding of community development issues. You will also have experience in event or project management, including planning implementation and evaluation, with excellent organisational, written and communication skills.
