Job Description: In this role you will experience working with a diverse group of teams and products including ABC’s Content Archives, Digital Product and Enterprise Applications teams. As part of the role, you will assist teams in the development and deployment of new systems as well as modernising systems as they are migrated to the cloud. Keeping up to date with the latest AWS technologies you will provide guidance to teams to ensure their systems are deployed to best practices. Job Responsibilities: Improving system reliability, quality and security of the AWS platform through monitoring, reporting and fault resolution on supported platforms. Operation and support of applications and services managed by the Cloud Shared Services team. Assist in the design and implementation of new cloud hosted applications Job Requirements: Supporting and developing the cloud deployment and management platform using highly advanced automation skills. Excellent problem solving skills including the ability to investigate, analyse and solve very complex technical problems. Excellent programming and scripting in common languages such as Python, Bash and Node.js Qualification & Experience: Good experience administering Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems Experience managing common third-party Cloud management tools such as Datadog and Splunk Experience managing and developing automated CI/CD systems. Experience with Bitbucket, Bamboo and CloudFormation is desirable. Extensive experience deploying and managing a variety Amazon Web Services (AWS) services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS and VPC’s.
