Job Description: As part of the Lead Advisory practice, the Regional Corporate Finance (“RCF”) team advises private equity, corporate and entrepreneurial clients on strategic reviews, acquisitions, disposals, mergers, leveraged transactions and finance raisings. The Scotland Corporate Finance which recently won deal team of the year has continued to grow and has a healthy book of live deals and near-term prospects. The roles will be Glasgow and Edinburgh based, covering Central Scotland, but the team operates in conjunction with the other regional and London Corporate Finance teams and you will be expected to occasionally work on projects outside of Central Scotland as required. Job Responsibilities: As part of our growth plans, we would like to meet prospective candidates for future Executive roles as we look to strengthen the Corporate Finance team in Central Scotland and to grow the execution and origination capabilities in line with the increased levels of M&A activity. Corporate Finance Executives play key roles in the RCF team and advise on a wide variety of corporate transactions, interacting with clients and other professionals such as bankers and lawyers, take a lead role in the preparation of Business Plans and Information Memoranda, and are closely involved in deal negotiation. Job Requirements: Provision of creative solutions to transaction issues; Effective communication of findings of work to clients; Strong commercial acumen and the ability to apply this to real world situations, demonstrating an ability to analyse market and business drivers; Confidence to communicate effectively with senior individuals; Possession of an accounting/finance qualification or similar; Structuring and modelling the financial implications of transactions; Strong numerical and financial skills coupled with a comprehensive understanding of financial statements; Research and analysis of key value drivers at a market and business level; Researching and profiling potential acquisition targets and prospective buyers and presenting the strategic rationale for potential transactions; Creative in the sourcing and use of information and able to make sensible assumptions where appropriate; Taking responsibility for own workload and ensuring that all tasks are efficiently completed; Self-starter and fast learner as well as being able to work effectively in a team; Preparation of pitch documentation; Preparation of client reports and key documentation for fund-raising, acquisitions and disposals including information memoranda, business plans; Job Details: Company: EY Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Edinburgh, Scotland, UK Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.com
