Job Description: This position is in the Chief Information Office (CIO) which manages the information resources environment for the Forest Service. As a Project Manager, the incumbent leads the design, planning and implementation of projects to meet the Information Technology (IT) goals and priorities of the agency. Job Responsibilities: Assists in conducting analyses, developing goals, objectives, strategies, and other strategic, tactical, and business planning activities. Assists in milestone project reviews, and monitoring project activities/resources to mitigate risk. Plans and manages complex IT projects involving interrelated disciplines and multiple stages of the systems development lifecycle. Leads the design, planning, and implementation of projects to meet the Information Technology (IT) goals and priorities. Integrates system analysis, software development, database administration, and customer support into the project plan.
