Job Description: The role of Senior Radiation Therapist encompasses supporting and assisting the Radiotherapy Department in all aspects of its workflow from referral, treatment delivery to follow up. This will involve mould room tasks, localisation and planning, treatment delivery and patient management and care. The radiation therapist shall adhere to these tasks according to established departmental practises and standards . Job Responsibilities: Senior Radiotherapy technologist must have good knowledge of Human anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and medical terminology Radiotherapy technologist must have good knowledge of radiation safety and safe handling of radiation sources and radiation equipments Excellent English verbal and written communication skills The Senior Radiotherapy Technologist is responsible for supervision of therapists who worked in daily operations of the Linear accelerator, HDR machine, CT simulator, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and daily quality assessment (QA) Coordinates work schedule with Lead Therapist, Departmental Director and/or scheduling desk to assure workload coverage Performs all scheduled radiation treatments, CT simulations and mould room works Job Requirements: BSc.
