Job Description: We’re looking for a web developer with well-developed programming skills in a number of languages such as PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML and other web related technologies. The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to produce documentation as part of the development lifecycle including writing technical requirements, design documents, test cases and release plans. A range of technologies have been used to create the ACCC websites including open source technologies such as Drupal. Your role as one of the ACCC’s application/web developers will be to maintain the operation of the ACCC websites and applications and build new functionality and modules as directed. Job Responsibilities: Manage and assist in the administration of the ACCC’s web and applications development environments. Writing technical requirements in consultation with business analyst and client areas. Coordinating with the release manager on release of your code. Developing code and unit tests. Coordinating with the test manager on production and completion of technical and user acceptance tests. Writing design specifications. Apply a sound knowledge of Drupal CMS infrastructure to perform web development. Under broad direction, work with client areas to accurately and clearly define technical requirements for new web modules and deliver agreed outcomes on time and budget.
