As a leader within the Network Operations unit, you will lead shift-working staff and oversee current and introduced services to ensure the delivery of optimal Air Traffic Network performance for Australia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Continue to deliver Airservices’ record of Safety, Environmental, WHS, Risk and Compliance excellence
    Lead a high-performing and accountable team;
  • Supervise and lead Network Operations services in an H24 shift working environment, managing the operational delivery of: strategic and Pre-Tactical Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) to balance network demand and capacity, flight Planning solutions, aeronautical Information Services, collaborative decision making and management of abnormal events (business continuity, crisis and disruption events)
  • Provide Operational Supervision through: effective resource allocation on day of operations, quality control of NCC service delivery, management of operational staff, first responder in NCC Business Disruption and floor warden responsibilities / Chief warden responsibilities (out of hours)
  • Form an integral part of the Network Planning and Optimisation branch and leadership teams;

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to drive, deliver and sustain continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong leadership, influencing, stakeholder management and communications skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • High level knowledge and/or experience of CDM and/or AIM
