Job Description: As a Technical Officer you will provide specialised technical maintenance and support to safety critical high reliability air traffic control systems. Job Responsibilities: As a member of the Brisbane Airways Technical Services team, you will be involved in the delivery of specialised maintenance support to Airways facilities and software based electronic systems. Your work will be undertaken with minimal supervision in compliance with prescribed regulations and standards, and ensure the safety, efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity of Airservices’ National Airways System. You will be part of a diverse, dynamic, and highly skilled team of technical practitioners who provide frontline maintenance and support services for critical Air Traffic Control related systems. Job Requirements: Ability to work as a member of a team, Demonstrated application of technical diagnostic skills on complex electronic / computer systems. Demonstrated application of higher order communication skills in order to achieve customer-focussed outcomes. A proven ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the equipment, policies, procedures, instructions and other relevant documentation appropriate to the position. Qualification & Experience: Information technology; or Restricted Electrical Licence (Desirable) Current Australian Driver’s Licence. Qualifications equivalent to the above. ACMA Data Cabling Licence (Desirable) Computer science; Experienced in planning, organising and performing of activities and tasks with limited guidance, for cost effective outcomes.
