Airservices Employement – Precinct Security Officer

Job Description:

As Precinct Security Officer at an Air Traffic Services Centre (ATSC) precinct on-site, you will be the access control and approval authority for all site and zone access.

Job Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will contribute to security risk and threat assessments and will be required to implement, monitor and maintain security arrangements for the ATSC (Air Traffic Services Centre) and other precinct buildings as well as supporting with investigating security incidents.
• As the security approver for all works plans for accredited zone facilities as well as providing security advice and assistance on project teams, this new role will see you working across medium level security tasks.
• You will be part of a small but highly capable team and will share your knowledge and skills across a broad stakeholder group.
• You will be a part of a high-performing and accountable team maintaining Airservices’ record of Safety, Environmental, WHS, Risk and Compliance excellence in the demonstration of safe behaviours, practices and processes.

Job Requirements:

• Working knowledge of ASIO Technote 1/15 and PSPF or similar
• Stakeholder management experience
• Hold or ability to acquire an ASIC and Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the conduct of security investigations – desirable

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience in delivering protective security services, preferably in aviation, critical infrastructure, project management or government
• Certificate IV in Security Risk Management or similar – desirable
