Job Description: The Data Scientist will be responsible to assist sales teams as a presales consultant to acquire business, maximize revenue opportunities and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Clearly articulate, through presentations/demos/POC/conversations- value of analytics software in assigned domain or business/industry area, and successfully positions analytics solutions to customers. Builds high-end analytical models, visualizations, and responds to RFI/RFP’s or business case requests crafting thorough compelling answers and proposals that effectively differentiate the company from our competitors. Assists in proof of concepts. Job Responsibilities: Provides support and input for projects and initiatives that contain an analytical component. Demonstrates key analytic findings to stakeholders at customers. Assists in the translation of business needs into analytical opportunities. Prepare and manipulate structured and unstructured data for data discovery and mining from multiple disparate resources for value selling to support sales cycles. Builds high-end analytic models, utilizing supervised and unsupervised learning models, to support decision makers with data driven insights that address immediate business problems and objectives. Creates informative visualizations that intuitively display large amounts of data and/or complex relationships; translates data analytics into coherent reports and presentations for internal and external customer with varying degrees of technical knowledge. May have a specialty around machine learning, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, optimization or advanced statistics. Prototypes solutions using varied resources, including ANALYTICS software and open source software. ANALYTICS Software licensing.
