Job Responsibilities

  • To assist the General Manager and Group Financial Controller in carrying out in-depth analysis of performance of various AF Group Businesses during the Monthly Management Reporting time, Budgets and Forecast cycles and the Strategic Plan with a view to provide inputs to the Senior Management
  • To assist the General Manager and the Group Financial Controller in preparation of various critical adhoc MIS info /carrying out analysis from the Senior Management
  • Closely follow/coordinate the activities as per the timelines set for various Budgets, Quarterly Reviews and Strategic Plans
  • Coordinating receipt of decks and in-depth review to highlight key issues / takeaways from the presentation for General Manager/Group Financial Controller/CFO’s attention
  • Jointly coordinate the BPC data submission activities and review of consolidation results of Budgets, Quarterly Forecasts, Strategic Planning exercise for Trading Group , Property Group and AF Group to provide a group-wide view of the consolidated results
  • Ensurefinance associates are trained and guided to deliver the Budgets, Forecasts and Long Term Plans in BPC system per the Group Guidelines
  • Ensure adherence to process & timelines
  • Timely and accurate Group Consolidation of Budget/Forecast numbers per IFRS and highlighting key issues
  • Accurate and relevant reports for decision making are submitted on time.
  • Highlighting key issues/major variations based on performance trends
  • To periodically update available financial numbers/KPIs/other comparatives of various principals / competitors, etc. for comparison/benchmarking against various AF Group businesses performance
  • To assist in identification and automation of MIS/reporting using tools such as SAP BI/BO, Tableau, etc..
  • Assist preparation of the Post-Acquisition Review document for all the acquired businesses of Alfuttaim as required by the DOA
  • business expansions for review by the Senior Management
  • Preparation and presentation of the analysis on time as per DOA

Job Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of various Financial Processes, Planning and Analytical Skills, Modelling, Effective Communication, Strong people and time management skills,
  • Chartered Accountant/CIMA/CMA with good working knowledge on SAP ERP, SAP BI/BW, SAP BPC system and other reporting tools such as Tableau
  • Overall 7 years + in Finance with atleast 5 years in similar/reporting/Corporate Finance role
