Job Description:
The City of Albany is looking for someone with a passion for WHS to join our team. Our Health and Safety Officer / Advisor will support the organisation to achieve high safety standards, and comply with relevant legislation, ensuring the safety of our workers.

Job Responsibilities:
- Providing expert WHS advice, support, services, training and coaching
- Ensuring all functional aspects of the business have appropriate WHS processes in place and can provide evidence of complianc
Job Requirements:
- Capability to undertake risk assessments, manage incidents, undertake investigations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement practical solutions across a range of industries
- Proven ability to understand, apply and communicate WHS processes and requirements
- Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in developing and delivering in-house presentations and training programs
- Degree qualification in Work Health and Safety or a related field
- ICAM or equivalent Incident Management Training Qualifications
- Lead (Senior) Auditor Qualification
- Experience leading WHS audits
