Job Description:

Aldi South IT are responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly from the IT infrastructure to the software used on an international scale. Aldi South IT now has big plans to scale their platform even further and as a result, they are actively on the search for an eCommerce Specialist / SME.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for content-related implementation of user stories and close cooperation with the product owner
• Acting as the contact person for the agile team on expert questions in the area of Order & Return Management or Catalogue Management
• Ensuring efficient and reliable operation and maintainability of the solution
• Validating the proposed product specifications, design and solutions and identifying risks and problems
• Supporting the decision-making process pertaining to implementation and configuration options

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience including IT project work, ideally in an international and agile context
• Extensive experience in projects concerning eCommerce solutions – e.g. Spryker, Oxid, Magento
• Fluency in the English language
• Familiarity with developing and implementing eCommerce solutions
• Agile mindset, strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience developing digital “must-haves” for various apps or websites ensuring good quality online shopping experiences for customers
