Job Description:

To supervise and train technologists engaged in the respective specialities and be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Department’s Quality Assurance programme as agreed by the Technical Director.

Job Responsibilities:

• Current Registered Licensure in country of citizenship or professional practice.
• Knowledge of JCIA or accreditation standards and QI/CQI/PI philosophy an advantage.
• Graduate of an accredited School, University, or Institution from where the qualification permits registration with the ARRT or its equivalent.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of principles, methods, equipment and theory of the practice of different modalities in medical imaging department.
• Ability todemonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of radiation protection and MRI safety.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with an aptitude in problem-solving.
• Minimum seven(7) years postgraduate clinical practice experience in which three (3) years should be in supervisory/ managerial role.
• Current clinical experience of (5) years in CT/MRI/Mammography and X-rays.
