Job Responsibilities

Ensures that the assigned area of responsibility is cleaned according to hospital policies and procedures.  Ensures that the assigned tasks are completed within the duty period and possesses the skills required to operate equipment and requires flexibility in order to respond to a change of area/task or in an emergency case.  Should be aware of the need to use chemicals in a safe manner and to utilize resources economically.  Plays an active role in waste management code of practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Following company policies and adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Being knowledgeable about the products and services in my store and helping customers by giving great natural service
  • Delivering department routines
  • Serving customers on our checkouts ensuring they receive an easy, seamless and personalised experience
  • Replenishing products within my store
  • Championing the reduction of food waste
  • Manually condensing stock and handling products with care to maintain product quality
  • At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store

Job Requirements

  • The ability to build rapport with customers, meaning they leave the store having experienced a great shopping trip
  • Work well within a team and communicate effectively and openly with others
