Job Description:

Under the direction of the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), the Project Manager will lead the execution of some of the most complex and niche projects within the American Hospital Dubai. Will be responsible for planning, managing and monitoring expansion projects for the Hospital from inception through implementation, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and within the budget.  Will be leading cross-functional teams, accountable for defining and implementing projects. The role is intended to manage and adapt continuously to project goals.  This highly collaborative role will need to work closely with all departments, accomplish project objectives through constant planning and evaluating of project activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teams to track progress against overall project timelines and ensure project progresses on schedule, within budget and in line with quality requirements
• Anticipate and fix any potential issues with the project through quick responses and proactive critical thinking
• Manage overall project to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates are transparent and well communicated through the various stakeholders and members
• Utilize proven Project Management software to facilitate clear deliverables for each stakeholders so as achieve desired success
• Provides vision and direction for the most complex, niche and cross-functional projects of the Hospital
• Apply project management expertise and best practice knowledge to project work
• Manage and oversee project documentation, including project plans that specify goals, staffing and scheduling
• Develop communication plans, deliver timely and effective updates to all identified stakeholders/proactively work to mitigate risks

Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge of regulations and legal aspects
• Demonstrated success in effectively envisioning, developing, and implementing new strategies
• Incredibly detail-oriented
• Ability to influence and motivate team members and business partners
• Excellent understanding of healthcare business, market trends and competition
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent facilitation and project management skills
• Good understanding and hands on experience of Project Management software
• Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity and professionalism

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Healthcare Management
• Certified Project Management Professional
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience leading projects within Healthcare environment managing multiple and complex projects
