Job Description: It’s an exciting time to join our Property team at Sainsbury’s. We’ve brought our facilities management function in-house and are having a group wide approach across our brands to ensure that the facilities within our corporate, retail and depot operations are led with a strategic lens to meet cost efficiencies and our Net Zero targets. Job Responsibilities: Strategically review asset age, condition and dilapidation reports to provide the business with clear and precise understanding of where investment is required. Develop and maintains accurate capital planning methodology to enable investment decisions to be made. Works cross functionally to align investment requirements to leveraging revenue spend from FM contracts. Develops and maintains warranty claim processes to newly invested assets ensuring no additional contractual spend where applicable. Leads the development of systems to plan and maintain the forward investment view for asset replacements across all FM categories. Job Requirements: Strong FM or Property and/or Project Management background Exceptional communication skills (written and oral). Capable of presenting and influencing effectively up to and including Senior Managers Strong analytical skills being able to analyse data and draw correlations between data sets To be able to understand trends and the resulting impact on the business so longer term strategy decisions can be made.
