Job Description: ASD is seeking to fill specialised positions for Machinists, Fitter and Turners and Technologists (at the ASD4, ASD5 & ASD6 level) to develop unique mechanically engineered solutions and products enabling the conduct of intelligence, security and military operations. These positions are part of a close knit team that is involved in end-to-end capability development and delivery with responsibility for engineering development from conceptual designs right through to end product delivery to the customer. We build our unique products using state of the art technologies, techniques and systems in the mechanical domain. The breadth of the teams work program will give the successful applicant(s) the opportunity to be exposed to the full product life-cycle and see the results of their work, turn into real-world outcomes for your customers. Job Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will under broad direction, design, manufacture, test and integrate bespoke mechanical/electrical systems and sub systems. The ideal candidate will work well in a small team environment and contribute to the development and growth of the manufacturing capability within ASD. You will be responsible for both supporting our existing products and designing new ones by bringing your ideas and experience to meet our challenging real-world problems.
