Job Description:
The Business Assurance team consists of experts in Risk Management, Business Continuity, Health & Safety, Insurance and Internal Audit. Currently Internal Audit is all out-sourced to a third-party provider, as ASOS continues its phenomenal growth journey and looks to mature we have now decided to bring IA in-house to drive more value from the function and better support ASOS in achieving its objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Owning elements of the audit universe, risk assessment and annual audit planning
- Working with the Internal Audit leadership team to deliver the Internal Audit Strategy and Roadmap as we establish an in-house Internal Audit function
- Responsible for following up on agreed audit actions
- Representing Internal Audit as we build the profile of the function within the business and working with Stakeholders to bring to life how Internal Audit can add value
- Responsible for Audit Committee Reporting, KPI monitoring, client satisfaction questionnaires
- Business partnering as a “critical friend” to add best practice control and governance advice to support the business as it matures
- Delivering end to end audit execution from planning to reporting as per the annual plan, working with the Head of Internal Audit to build the in-house audit methodology
Job Requirements:
- A self-starter attitude
- CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified
- A strong, diverse technical background covering transformation, financial (SOX) compliance, process improvement, operational auditing
- E-commerce and/or retail experience is helpful
- Experience operating in a less mature control environment and a willingness to work with the business to define fit for purpose governance and control
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the flexibility and agility to work within a fast paced, ever changing business and risk landscape
