Job Description:
The Inbound Supply Chain team are responsible for all elements of the ASOS global inbound operations. We work closely with all parts of the ASOS family, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods across the global ASOS fulfilment centres. We manage third-party partners, ensuring excellent service is the number one priority for the teams. Taking on every challenge no matter how complex, with our customers (internal & external) at the heart of everything we do. The ASOS Inbound team aim to provide an effective & efficient service, ensuring we always enable growth, supporting the business’ mission to become the world’s number-one destination for fashion-loving 20-somethings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all 3PL partner operations and managing against KPIs, SLAs, reporting and forecasting
- Playing a pivotal role in our continuous strategic planning, aiding the relentless drive to become best in class
- Responsible for inbound financial forecasting, whilst analysing cost to identify trends & opportunities
- Budgeting responsibility in-line with business requirements & expectations
- Implementation & continuous review of the inbound strategy
- Ensuring the Inbound Team are operationally aligned and work in coordination with our key stakeholders (Finance, Global Trade, B&M, Fulfilment Centres and Tech)
- Able to create strong and lasting relationships with internal customers & external partners
- Driving operational performance, whilst having the ability to identify opportunities
- Establishing and implementing standard operating procedures, across all Inbound flows
Job Requirements:
- Resilience and a skillset to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in e-commerce
- Good awareness of buying and merchandising critical paths and possible pinch points
- Strong awareness of Supply Chain management and operations
- Supplier negotiation experience
- The ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships
- Previous budget responsibility and ownership
- The ability to think strategically
- A proven track record of delivering new solutions that deliver tangible benefits
- The ability to influence at all levels, both internally and externally
- Strong knowledge of road, sea, air and rail freight services
- Knowledge of customs requirements across UK, EU & US
- Good understanding of Incoterms and the intricacies between them
