Job Description:

As a Product Designer for ASOS Marketplace y ou will be designing product features for both the buyer and the seller experience . This will include improving the on-site experience with the goal to increase buyer acquisition and conversion , as well as optimising the seller ’s toolset to help support their businesses and promote growth .

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand the technology, business processes and data models that underpin our user experience s .
  • Communicating design decisions , progress, and research findings early and often.
  • Champion the user and be their voice at all times , follow and adhere to a user centred design philosophy.
  • Work cross-functionally with product owners, engineers, marketing, account manager and insight.
  • Ensure that all designs are in line with ASOS ’ s target accessibility standards.
  • Use both quantitative and qualitative research methods to inform and validate your design decisions.
  • Contribute to the long – term strategy and influence the future direction of ASOS Marketplace.
  • Keep abreast of new technology, design trends and emerging design thinking.
  • Undertake both design and research activities as required to help ensure solutions are insight driven and truly customer centric .
  • Design with consistency and brand principles in mind, know when to use the design system and when to break it.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in designing and shipping highly engaging consumer products .
  • Experience designing for multiple platforms – Web (Mobile, Tablet & Desktop ), App (iOS & Android), and emails.
  • 3 + years product design e xperience – e-commerce, online marketplace experience or designing for B2B products a bonus.
  • Experience in making data-driven design decisions ( e.g. from analytics, quant/qual research, and MVTs).
  • Experience with relevant design tools (Sketch, Axure, Marvel, Protopie /Principle)
  • A digital design degree or equivalent experience and an excellent portfolio .
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions to key stakeholders .
  • A broad range of skills covering user research, information architecture, wireframing, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
