Job Description:
The Systems Development and Assurance Team is responsible for developing and maintaining multiple internal and external facing systems using various technologies and approaches in order to service AUSTRAC’s mission. We focus on customer needs and put the concerns of users first so they can both access and supply the required information. We work to deliver our services to the public quickly and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising direct reports within the team
- Leading technical projects to extend and expand IT Systems applications.
- Designing core applications to be reusable and extensible through the use of shared data models and messaging technology.
- Assisting with producing various technical documents including production support artefacts.
- Tracking and implementing SLAs within a team
- Working with the Pega CRM to lead new design work, develop new functions, guide direct reports, and maintain existing features
- Working with AUSTRAC staff, both contract and APS, of varying levels and skillsets depending on project requirements.
- Responding to technical questions in support of and to maintain existing agency applications.
- Meeting the goals and objectives of the department through delivering assigned tasks and working with the rest of the team.
- Reviewing IT Systems’ support requirements, updating the records of support requests and addressing system fixes and enhancements in order to reduce and/or eliminate ongoing system issues.
- Working with Delivery Managers and other ITS staff to address the stability, security and reliability of supported IT Systems applications.
- Leading some Systems Analysis and Design tasks and working with ITS staff on others.
- Working with various stakeholders including other IT business units, other branches of AUSTRAC and various 3rd party application vendors
