Job Description:

As the Retail Channel Development Consultant you will be responsible for facilitating and supporting frontline learning and development programs across the Post Office Network. These programs are focused on building critical retailing and business development capabilities to help grow outlet and network profitability and sustainability, and contribute to the strategic priorities of the Community & Consumer business unit and Australia Post overall.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure learning focuses on uplifting critical retailing, business development and small business management capabilities, to help grow the profitability and sustainability of outlets and the network, and contribute to Australia Post’s strategic priorities.
• Effectively manage budget expenditure, including delivering on/under budget on project activities.
• Facilitate leadership and entrepreneurial focused programs to uplift the capability across the Post Office Network, requiring regionally based travel and often outside of normal working hours.
• Facilitating and supporting frontline learning and development programs in collaboration with Retail Channel Development and Post Office Network State teams
• Provide innovative thinking and recommendations to drive customer-centricity and advocacy.
• Showcase your passion to build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high performing team that optimises talent and promotes innovation and new ideas.
• Inspire others to participate in learning and development opportunities, and proactively contribute to a culture in which people embrace continued learning and challenge themselves.

Job Requirements:

• Proven ability to effectively manage budget expenditure, including delivering on/under budget on project activities.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Relevant tertiary qualification in Business required
• Experience in building co-operation and overcoming any challenges to promote high collaborative partnerships across an organisation.
