Job Description: The Monitoring and Response Systems Section performs the data collection and monitoring function for the Australian Cyber Security Centre. The section undertakes capability development and provides system support services to a range of internal and external stakeholders. The section is currently looking to fill two ASD5 roles, a Software Developer and a Data Analyst. The successful applicants will be offered the opportunity to work within small, cohesive, high-performing teams directly contributing to the development and ongoing support of both new and existing ACSC capabilities within the section. Job Requirements: Linux/or Windows System Administration experience. An understanding of: Operational security concepts, capabilities and technologies. Demonstrated competency Using: Python and/or JAVA. Developing, supporting and improving operational capability (COTS and Bespoke capability); and In a management or coordination role would be beneficial. Stakeholder engagement and management skills. The ability to: Engage with stakeholders to collect requirements to deliver operational outcomes. Familiarity with: System and configuration management is desirable.
