Job Description: ASD Offensive Online Operators come from a broad range of backgrounds including intelligence analysts, operational planning, technical cyber operations, cyber security, project management, marketing, media and behavioural science or criminology. While there are no specific qualifications required for the role, an interest or background in offensive cyber, military operations, languages, technical and behavioural cyber operations would be advantageous. Job Responsibilities: Understand stakeholder’s requirements and contribute ideas to deliver cyber outcomes, contributing to the development of tradecraft advice for the development of operational planning and capability. Conduct cyber operations against targets who represent threats to Australian national security. Contribute to the understanding, development and implementation of new tradecraft. Resolve tradecraft problems using expertise, taking initiative to identify and recommend alternative course of action. Can build and sustain effective relationships with team members, partners, and stakeholders and actively participate in team work and organisational activities Conduct cyber operations against targets who represent threats to Australian national security. Contributes to the understanding, development and implementation of new tradecraft.
