Job Description:

As a Barclays Business Analyst, you’ll be part of a team that will be responsible for leading large multi-year change programme. You will have opportunity to exercise overall responsibility to drive analysis and design from inception, through delivery stages to business go live and benefit realisation, demonstrating your ability to successfully deliver change. In this role you will need collaboration and positive attitude to lead significant change.

Job Responsibilities:

• Defining and documenting functional requirements either by use of user stories or functional requirements
• Work with development team to understand technical design, database, configuration and migration script dependencies, confirm estimates and agree delivery /testing
• Engage and facilitate across workstreams/ delivery teams to identify and proactively manage risks and issues; support teams to remove blockers
• Identify or provide solution options, pros/cons and present recommendations using appropriate level of documentation for audience and consult to get agreement
• Work with release teams to ensure that production releases are planned out with minimal or no disruption to customers and business users
• Working with stakeholders and delivery teams to lead the definition stage to confirm project scope, identify delivery plan, resource demand, testing and implementation approach
• Documentation of Acceptance Criteria and working closely with technology development teams to ensure solutions meet the requirements
• Gap analysis and design tasks, across multiple applications and technologies to propose solutions and assess the impact of change on systems, interfaces, processes and people

Job Requirements:

• Ability to drive requirements and document solutions, and gain confidence and buy in with users and development
• Expert level of competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data modelling/ flow tools
• Ability to perform analysis across multiple assets classes, multiple applications and technologies
• Ability to manage and engage stakeholders, initiate and build good relationships and influence and negotiate at all levels
• Experience of data migration, analysis and definition, and onboarding of new business
• Experience of test script generation and test execution and ability to use Acceptance Criteria to drive out the requirements and testing required (BDD)
• Experience in delivery projects covering Cash Settlements or decommissioning projects
• Track record of successful analysis and design delivery of change business from inception through to delivery ideally with cross function or front to back impacts
