Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a proactive individual to make a powerful contribution to a thriving, diverse and resilient local economy. Working within the Community & Economic Development team, the Industry Partnerships & Development Officer will co-design innovative programs with industry to facilitate jobs and investment by fostering partnerships with key stakeholders.

The local economy in the Bega Valley includes industry staples such as farming and dairy, tourism, health services, fishing and aquaculture, and retail and as well as emerging industries such a vibrant games development industry, film makers, live music makers and entrepreneurs, design and small manufacturing, agroforestry, recreation services, digital and screen media, writers, composers, micro businesses, venues, craft distilleries and much more.

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated knowledge in delivering projects and partnership with industry, businesses, stakeholders and/or government agencies.
• High level written, and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Office and data and record management software systems.
• Current NSW C Class Drivers Licence
