Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, Technology Optimization, the Senior Advisor, ICT Systems Architecture is responsible for assessing, identifying and resolving network and infrastructure issues in complex environments. The Senior Advisor develops network, processing and capacity designs at the data center level and communicates well at various levels of the business, both internally and externally. The Senior Advisor will lead the network and infrastructure test sets, as well as the risk and network assessments. Job Responsibilities: Create written reports and present them to various stakeholders. Provide support for the installation and operation of complex system hardware. Monitor and analyze systems, identify weaknesses and plan their remediation. Provide practical support for various technologies. Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis to find solutions. Provide advice to staff on technology issues as required. Liaise with various departments and agencies to identify and manage issues, especially those related to network, storage and infrastructure. Coordinate the application of disaster recovery procedures. Job Requirements: CCNA / CCNP routing and switching or security certifications an asset Experience with Microsoft Windows Server environment and virtualization with VMWare / Hyper-V / KVM At least five years of industry experience Proven experience in the architecture, design, implementation and support of networking and storage for enterprise environments.
