As our Library Programs Officer, you will partner with all areas of our Library, Council and external organisations to deliver programs that connect the community and develop community learning. You will assist in the development, implementation and coordination of contemporary and dynamic programs to deliver high-quality customer experiences. Job Requirements: Demonstrated ability to apply EEO and WHS principles, and to proactively act with discretion Current high level digital literacy skills, with the confidence to support customers with diverse technology including online and virtual collections and services, across multiple devices, platforms, apps and software General knowledge of library policies and practices, and current trends in libraries Proven ability to engage with all library customers and communicate effectively to provide high quality customer service and conduct customer service shift supervision Ability to adapt to a changing environment including new technologies Proven ability to work in a team environment Qualification & Experience: Experience in the delivery of programs to children, youth and adults Experience in the delivery of staff training Demonstrated ability to effectively organise and prioritise workloads Knowledge and experience in cataloguing, Libraries Australia and TROVE Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering innovative and inclusive programs, including outreach programs Demonstrated experience in providing excellence in customer service with the ability to confidently and proactively engage with library customers and value-add to the customer experience Qualifications in Library and Information Science or equivalent, and/or experience Job Details: Company: Camden Council Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Camden, New South Wales, AU Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.com
