Job Description: Interior designers make interior spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting decorative items, such as colors, lighting, and materials.Read blueprints and must be aware of building codes and inspection regulation Job Responsibilities: Prepare installation drawings and supporting documents (specs) using AutoCAD and/or CET (typicals, furniture plans, 3D’s) Develop creative solutions based on needs analysis. Identify areas that need field verification and coordinate actual dimensions with final plan. Subcontract fabrication, installation and arrangement of carpeting , fixtures, accessories, draperies , paint and wall coverings, art work, furniture and related items. Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to the management / BOD for approval. Qualification & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the same field. Bachelor’s degree in interior design, drawing, computer-aided design (CAD) and 3d designing.
