Job Description: Providing expert strategic and operational guidance to the Executive and Senior Management Team, you will be the first point of contact for all legal and governance focused issues across a broad range of corporate services including financial services, property management, employment law and planning. Key specifics will include risk and civil mitigation, existing and proposed contract analysis, and ensuring 100% legal and legislative compliance. In addition, you will be working with an established, highly effective legal/governance framework and as such be responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Job Requirements: Tertiary qualified in Law, you will have a strong generalist background ideally gained within Local Government or large, complex organisations where the emphasis has been on planning, employment law, financial services and property management. Your negotiation, engagement and analytical skills will all be at a premium, and you are a natural problem-solver with the confidence and credibility to influence key policy and matters of law at the highest levels.
