Job Description:

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking expressions of interest from planners who would like to play an important role in the delivery of planning services and the continued success of our planning team and wider organisation.
While the vacancy relates to a permanent/full-time Band 5 position, we are open to expressions from student/graduate planners to more experienced planners; from full-time to part-time; and from short-term to long-term.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing and presenting submissions to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
• Assessing applications for planning permits and amendments to permits, as well as applications for extensions of time and plans to comply with permit conditions.
• Providing planning information and advice to internal departments, applicants and the community, including in-person, in-writing and over the phone.
• Assisting with administrative activities and contributing to initiatives to help improve the operation and performance of the team.
