Job Description:

The incumbent will serve as the Human Resources Office (HRO) advisor on immigration, legal status, and visa-related issues affecting foreign scientists and their dependents, and serves as the CDC subject-matter expert on CDC/ATSDR employment-based green card sponsorship.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the advisor on immigration, legal status, and visa-related issues affecting foreign scientists and their dependents.
• Conduct a variety of planning activities to support the mission of the Office.
• Direct administrative and technical activities.

Job Requirements:

• US Citizenship is required.
• Background Investigation may be required.
• One-year probationary period may be required.

Qualification & Experience:

• Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level of in the Federal service.
