Job Description

You will be assisting the Head of Marketing with support from the PR agency to define and execute the PR and offline media strategy for our Chalhoub Own Concept Beauty Brand. In close daily cooperation with the brands, digital marketing, content managers, the Senior PR & Communications Executive is responsible for optimizing PR coverage and offline media through strategic planning.You will manage the PR agency and media agency ensuring excellence of PR and media performance. You will be based in Dubai covering whole of GCC region.

Job Responsibilities

• You will manage the PR and media aspect of a possible crisis situation
• You will increase brand visibility and come up with ideas that can be translated into communications campaigns
• You will recommend and manage Award submissions and speaking opportunities locally, regionally and world wide
• You will review all Arabic press materials and ensure it is up to the brand’s standard
• You will coordinate ideas and opportunities for feature articles, interviews, presentations, and other public relations activities
• You will work in close coordination with the journalists to ensure all possible media leads are generated and maximise especially when it is in relation to the organization/brand portfolio
• You will manage and build a strong relationship with Key influential bloggers and media and organise events
• You will prepare monthly media coverage report, monitor and analyse industry news
• Organized event with media and influencers
• Mange PR and media budget, plan, develop, and execute successful PR and media strategies
• You will drive the development and implementation of PR and media campaigns
• You will build and maintain a permanent relationship with the press and key brand ambassadors
• You will research and develop media collateral
• You wil overlook the writing and distribution of press releases and ‘sell in’ stories to key target media channels, execute campaign measurement and evaluation
• You will create (or adapt), press kits and ensure they are dispatched timely
• You will analyse creative needs; suggest ideas and coordinate with the brand marketing teams for all related tasks
• You will prepare a brief for PR and media agency on all PR and media requirements and monitor their performance

Job Requirements

• You will be looking to grow your career into a managerial level role
• Previous agency experience would be advantageous
• You will have previous experience of dealing with UAE/GCC press, media, agencies and influencers
• You will be excellent at collaborating cross functionally
