Job Description: Individuals in this role are responsible for being subject matter experts and authorities in their department. They are responsible and empowered to trouble-shoot and resolve issues, research and assess inquiries, complete critical and complex processing situations, interpret regulatory guidelines, identify and mitigate/remediate operational risk and other risk concerns, resolve client impacting situations, train staff, identify and work to implement process improvement opportunities, review and develop procedures, and interact with front office personnel, all levels of management, other departments across the Bank, vendors, outside attorneys and title companies. Loan Operations Specialist IV positions are considered senior leaders within a department and many are Officers of the Bank with increased approval authority power. Job Responsibilities: Monitor and respond to request received through the group email account. Adhere to service level agreements for collateral releases. Performs collateral release for different types of collateral such as Mortgages, Assignments of Rents, UCC’s, negotiable collateral, life insurance and vehicles. Lead and/or Participate in projects for the Collateral Management Team. Monitor UCC’s terminated that are prepared outside of the collateral department. Perform due diligence review related to payoffs, cross-collateralizations, swaps, etc. prior to releasing collateral. Assist Manager with reviewing and signing employees daily release work. Job Requirements: Good understanding of consumer/ commercial documentation Prior experience performing collateral releases or related tasks. College degree preferred but not required. Minimum 2 years loan operations experience. Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word. FIS, ACBS or similar loan system experience is also required.
