Job Description:

We are looking for School Crossing Supervisors for 2025! School Crossing Supervisors have a much-valued role in our community, helping students and families cross the road safely during peak school times. It is a great way to stay active, connect with and be a part of the Boroondara community.

The position works professionally with employees at all levels across Council and liaises with external stakeholders including school children, families, school staff, pedestrians and drivers. There is an emphasis on maintaining exceptional customer service and responding promptly and courteously to all enquiries.

Job Requirements:

• Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
• Preferred applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Record Check
• Appointment is dependent on a satisfactory Working With Children’s Clearance
• All local government employees must be fully vaccinated to perform work outside of their place of residence. Appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to provision of evidence of vaccination status or medical exemption prior to commencement.
