Job Description:

The City of Bunbury is calling for candidates who wish to register their interest for any up-and-coming casual vacancies at the City’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS).

Job Requirements:

• Counting and sorting eligible and non-eligible containers
• Support and educate customers on container separation methods/rules
• Manage the bag drop point, including the issuing of Scheme ID stickers through the CDS software
• Operate a forklift/pallet jack for shifting/loading/arranging containers at the storage area
• Safe work/operations including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Undertake daily set up and closing procedures
• Present a friendly, helpful and happy attitude when attending to customers
• Cleaning duties as directed
• Exercise a Duty of Care and work in a safe and efficient manner regarding one’s own safety and that of other workers
• Physical fitness and lifting required
