Job Description:
As the Corporate Planning Advisor, you will be a key and valued contributing team member of the Transformation and Corporate Performance team whose primary role is to support activities and initiatives that focus on improving alignment between corporate strategy, policy, planning and resources.
You will assist with a range of projects and activities in partnership with internal stakeholders to deliver high quality outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Embed the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework (IPRF) across the organisation
- Contribute to the development of organisational plans and strategies
- Provide training and high-quality documentation to support the adoption of our strategic planning framework and foster development of a group of Strategy Practice Leaders
- Plan and prepare the Council’s Annual Report, including working with the communications and engagement team to create the design and layout
- Drive the planning and activities related to the compilation and adoption of cyclical service and business planning
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to engage effectively to co-ordinate cross-functional corporate and/or strategic planning activities in complex organisations
- Communication, writing, and presentation skills that are exceptional, as well as the ability to present sensitive information to multiple audiences and stakeholders and produce high quality reports
Qualification & Experience:
- Comprehensive computer skills, particularly Microsoft suite of software (experience in using CAMMS – Integrated Performance Reporting software and Power BI highly regarded)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, formal accreditation in corporate planning methodologies and experience in strategic planning discipline highly regarded
