Job Description:

We are seeking a Traffic Technical Officer to join the Traffic and Transport Planning team.

  • provide high level administrative support with a key focus on customer service delivery for the Traffic and Transport Team
  • manage basic requests that relate to parking management and preparing and distributing information bulletins to the community on parking management changes.
  • administer the residential parking permit system and responding to residential parking permits enquiries.
  • review and approve National Heavy Vehicle Regulator Applications.

The role would appeal to someone with a previous parking and customer service experience the next step in their career development to become an experienced traffic technical officer with a broad knowledge of local government traffic operation.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Successful completion of year 12, and/or Trade or TAFE certificate or;
  • Relevant experience in a position involving similar responsibilities and a similar skill base ie: parking investigation and management in local government would be highly desirable
