Job Description:
We are seeking certified Immunisation Registered Nurses to join our vibrant Immunisation team to assist with the delivery of the National Immunisation Program both within community and Secondary school. The City of Monash has a supportive orientation program for both experienced and newly qualified immunisation nurses.
Job Requirements:
- A current Registered Nurse (Div 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Completed a recognised Nurse Immuniser program for Victoria
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the National Immunisation Programs
- Knowledge of health promotion and be able to present this to wide community groups
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Flexible & enthusiastic approach to service delivery
- Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required
- Hold a current employee Working with Children Check, Victorian driver’s licence & use of a registered motor vehicle
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience and understanding of nurse run clinics
- Experience as a nurse immuniser for both paediatric and Adult Immunisations
