We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Audit and Risk specialist to join our team within Perth’s capital city.

This is a highly visible role that reports to the Chief Executive Officer, and is the principal advisor to, and facilitator of, the Council’s Audit and Risk Committee

Job Responsibilities:

As the City’s Audit and Risk Manager, your primary responsibility is to create and execute strategies that enhance the City’s audit & risk capability and promote integrity and accountability in decision-making at all levels.

Leading the Audit and Risk team, you will be required to develop a sustainable culture of business continuity and risk management by partnering with the leadership team to enhance internal capability and provide confidence with good systems, processes and controls

Job Requirements:

With 10+ years’ experience applying contemporary principals in the audit and risk industry, you will build strategic relationships with members of the Executive team and the Risk Management team and together, you will ensure the City’s business continuity frameworks and plans are robust and critical risks are identified, monitored, and reported
