City of Swan Job Vacancies – Coordinator Parks Maintenance

Job Description:

This role will lead a large Parks Maintenance Place Services team in undertaking Mowing, Horticulture, Reticulation, Spraying and other general maintenance services.  You will manage planned maintenance programs and reporting data, provide quality tender specifications and lead purchasing and contract administration, and assist with ongoing strategic planning of resources.

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience delivering a program of work inclusive of puchasing, tendering and contract administration
• Experience driving safety accountability with a leadership group that cascades to team uptake of organisational safety tools and standards.
• Experience leading a large team of staff and contractors to deliver programs in a timely manner, to agreed quality, time, budget and customer satisfaction targets.
• Tertiary qualification in business management, leadership or similar, ideally complemented by project or contract management qualification.
• Experience coordinating appropriate responses to human resource issues.
