Job Description:
The City of Swan is looking for a Talent & People Partner on a 12 month fixed-term basis to cover parental leave. This role is a hybrid role which is approximately 60% talent acquisition and 40% generalist HR Partner activities. We are looking for someone who has a passion for talent acquisition but also likes to operate within the other areas of People & Culture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the recruitment, selection and on boarding process
- Coaching and supporting of our Leaders on all attraction and retention strategies
- Generalist HR activities at both an operational and project level
- Supporting key P&C projects such as continuous improvement of the current HR system and our talent acquisition strategies
Job Requirements:
- Highly developed interpersonal skills specifically the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate with a strong client focus
Tertiary HR qualification or equivalent - The ability to manage a variety of competing priorities and stakeholders
- Must be able to work in line with the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers)
Qualification & Experience:
- Directions Solutions and results focused, with a dedicated approach to providing an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.
