Job Description:
An exciting opportunity exists within the Whitehorse City Council Home and Community Services Department for staff working in our Customer Service Facilitation team.
Whitehorse City Council supports consumers over 65 years of age who are approved for care and services via the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Home Care Packages (HCP) and consumers under 65 eligible for Home & Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP). These positions will be responsible for providing flexible and responsive, high quality and timely customer service and administration support to the Whitehorse Home and Community Services Department.
Job Requirements:
- Develop service delivery rosters in a timely manner that are consumer centred, considerate of individual staff needs and ensure effective use of staff availability through efficient job allocation and workflow
- Manage feedback and reports from service delivery staff in relation to consumers and ensure information is forwarded to the relevant staff for action
- Assist with organising meetings, training and functions relevant to the program area and participate where relevant
- Working in a contact centre environment assisting clients over the phone in our inbound and outbound teams or assisting where needed to meet business outcomes
- Working in a busy shared (staff and consumer) environment that requires you to be able to interact face to face with consumers and then ensure your attention to detail is met on all tasks required by individuals within the team or teams themselves
- Assisting the team leader with management of operational tasks to ensure the goals of the administration team are met or exceeded
- Ability to backfill as required when leave is taken by team leader or other key members of the Customer Service team
