Job Description:
Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handles accountable test material.
- Conducts high school ASVAB tests as required.
- Brief applicants, distributes and proctors examinations, scores exams, performs quality control of examination and applicable applicant information, sends results to appropriate personnel.
- Cross-trains in other functions of the MEPS (such as processing) and performs these functions as required.
- Test include the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) – AVAB, Internet CAT – ASVAB, computer and paper and pencil special purpose tests and other non-aptitude tests for enlistment purposes.
- Performs data entry of results and information into the appropriate accession reporting system.
- Conducts aptitude and qualification examinations at the MEPS and Military Entrance Test (MET) sites for the applicants of the various Armed Services.
Job Requirements:
- Speaking skill
- Must be able to conduct test sessions at remote sites; high school property.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a driver’s license.
Qualification & Experience:
- Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
