Job Description:

We’re looking for lead technical delivery managers to join our Technology team here at Co-op as we enter an exciting period of transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of delivering small and large scale change in technology, where you will be given autonomy to lead the delivery end-to-end, always looking for innovation opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate and manage third party supplier delivery
• Optimise the delivery flow of teams and identify the most complicated risks, issues and dependencies
• Create a culture of continuous improvement, actively seeking feedback and acting on it
• Lead a continual planning process in a very complex environment which spans beyond product delivery
• Understand all risks within Stores and Branch technology and make sure that suitable mitigations are in place in line and are considered in future budgets
• Take ownership for the delivery of complex technology products and services that are being delivered in your area, to an appropriate level of quality, 24/7
• Matrix-manage a multidisciplinary team, making sure it has the right mix of skills needed to deliver

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with multiple delivery methodologies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
• Previous experience delivering a mixed portfolio of projects and products across multiple teams
• Exceptional collaboration skills and above all a team player
• The ability to balancing multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity
• The ability to challenge behaviours and ways of working within an organisation
• Experience working in and managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Great people coaching skills
