Job Description:

The Library Services team provides a range of Library services and programs for the community across the Cumberland City Council Library Service.Reporting to the Team Leader Library Programs and Information Services, this role assists in the planning and delivery of activities and services for children and young people over all Cumberland Library locations.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Working With Children Check Number
• Diploma – Library / Information Studies
• Eligible for Library Technician membership of ALIA
• High level of interpersonal and customer service skills and experience
• Well developed literacy, numeracy and oral communication skills
• Well developed computer and keyboard skills
• Experience and interest in presenting programs and activities for children and young people including lapsit programs and storytelling
