Job Description: Market and Valuations Risk Management (MVRM) – Valuation Control is a centralised function within Risk responsible for the independent valuation of trading positions for the Global Markets/ Global Banking businesses. There are teams based in London, New York and Asia. Valuations is comprised Rates, Credit, Equities, EM, Commodities, Foreign Exchange, as well as MVRM Methodology and governance. As Valuation Controller, you will be working within a high performing team predominantly focussed on EM with close interaction with Front Office and Finance. Job Responsibilities: Interacting with the Front Office and Finance to discuss the results of the month end processes Liaising with regional offices and offshore locations on valuation issues Overseeing and running month end independent price verification (IPV) process to ensure positions are marked correctly for Global Emerging Markets based in London Improving efficiency by challenging processes and procedures Taking responsibility for implementing valuation/ pricing adjustment and reserving methodologies on complex structured and cross-asset trades Job Requirements: Motivation to change and improve existing processes A strong understanding of the valuation of Rates products and knowledge of Credit products is a plus but not essential Strong mathematical skills and quantitative skills Previous experience in IPV or Product control areas within a large, global bank (IPV beneficial) Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly the drivers behind risk and valuation trends Job Details: Company: Deutsche Bank Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Leeds, GB Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.com
