Dogs Trust Careers – Supporter Relations Officer

Job Description:

The role of the Supporter Relations is primarily to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups by providing first-class customer care to potential and existing legacy pledgers; this includes carrying out presentations in the community, managing press and social media messaging and responses as well as organising rehoming centre tours and supporter events. They are also part of the team responsible for organising and attending the national DogFest events with the Dogs Trust Village.

Job Requirements:

• The successful candidate will have experience in a public facing role within marketing, PR or fundraising, a good knowledge of the local area and a passion and commitment to the work and aims of Dogs Trust .
• You’ll be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to develop and prioritise own workload working well under pressure and to deadlines.
• A full clean UK manual driving license is essential due to the travel requirement of the role.
