Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and enthusiastic Retail Area Manager to cover our shops across the South West Region including Winchester, Poole, Marlborough and others.

Job Responsibilities:

• Now you can be part of our next chapter. In this role you will be accountable for the successful delivery of the Retail Operations Strategy in your area to maximise income generation for Dogs Trust.
• This will be achieved through the leadership of a team of Shop Managers, their staff teams and the volunteers who support our operations, and the effective monitoring and evaluation of activity to deliver continuous improvement.
• You will also ensure the impact/development of Dogs Trust brand across the high-street and ensure the highest level of financial probity across the area

Job Requirements:

• The successful candidate will have achieved demonstrable success in a similar role in the retail or charity sector, will be accustomed to working to targets and experienced in performance management.
• You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with good organisational and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust and a full manual driving licence are essential.
